Share chats evenly between people
Decide how new chats are given out to your team.
In Salescom: Settings > Chat assignment
Every workspace starts with a policy called Share chats evenly. It takes turns (round robin) between the team members in the inbox, oldest chat first, so chats spread fairly.
- Go to Settings > Chat assignment to see or change your policies.
- Choose round robin or balanced sharing.
- Pick which inboxes use the policy.
Capacity limits
A capacity limit caps how many open chats one person can have at once. Set it under Chat assignment, then choose the limit for each person.
Assignment only gives out chats that have no one assigned. Rachel's handover settings link here too.
